Now You're Gone
Together we'd walk through the park,
Telling me stories straight from the heart.
We'd stop for a while, think up a smile,
Look into the sky not thinking of time.
Now you're gone.
You'd play me a tune in my middle age,
Laughing out loud, kids at play.
A heart full of gold yet stilled with pain,
A wish to come true still remains.
Now you're gone.
The dream has faded yet not our hope,
I wonder about tomorrow; will I be able to cope?
Tears in my eyes - did we exchange good-byes?
Will I see you again, oh some other time?
Now you're gone.
